When is the next reunion?

The next reunion is the 25th in 2008. While we don't have a date, time, or plan yet, trust us. It'll be great! :)

Why aren't you listing everyone's email address?

There are little programs that crawl through web pages looking for email addresses. These programs then inform their masters and those email addresses eventually get bombarded with spam. It's also a privacy concern. Unless a classmate specifically requests that the email address appears on the site, it will not.

How do I get in contact with a classmate who's email or home address isn't listed?

Send an email to Connie or Bernie and request the classmate's contact info. If the classmate wishes to make it available, they will send it to you or forward your contact info on to the classmate. Again, it's a privacy thing.

How can I help to make sure this site is found by search engines like Google, Yahoo, AltaVista, etcetera, etcetera?

This site began appearing on search engines or about 7/27/2003. It takes web search engines anywhere from 1 to 4 months to find and index a site for searches, especially if a site has few links to it and isn't paying a search engine company to search it regularly! So in order to increase the frequency of the searching, please put a link to this site, www.wickliffe83.org , on your home page or site. That way we'll be indexed more frequently! :)

What is the best way to view this site?

There really isn't a best way. This site has been designed around a screen which is has a resolution of at least 800 x 600, though 1024 x 768 is better! It contains no "browser specific" stuff; so, it should display fine on Internet Explorer, Netscape, Safari, Mozilla, Opera, and so on regardless of computer operating system. It is tested against 800 x 600 resolution using Internet Explorer in Microsoft Windows and Netscape and Safari in Macintosh OS X. So far, so good!

What is the controlling purpose of this site?

The controlling purpose of this site is to give the 1983 graduating class of Wickliffe High School a place where they can keep up with each other whenever they want to through news, biographies, pictures and whatever else they wish to contribute to its growth. (S. I. B. be damned!)

Think of it as a virtual and very slowly evolving 5 year long class reunion.
